From the start, 3-year-old Kisha was a lover girl. She’s playful, friendly, and always happy to make new friends with people and other pups.
When she arrived as a stray, she had a mass on her eye that we were fortunately able to get removed. She was also a CHONK but has since slimmed down thanks to an appropriate diet in her foster home. We thought people would be lining up to adopt an easygoing, beautiful dog like Kisha…but sadly, she has not been so lucky 😢 She’s been in foster for quite some time now with no one stepping forward to give Kisha a forever home.
When a dog is a bit of a challenge, it totally makes sense for it to take awhile for them to get adopted. Sometimes they need a little extra hands-on work and a quiet foster home to decompress before they’re ready for the real deal. But dogs like Kisha…she was ready for a home from the start.
As long as you don’t have cats, Kisha could be a great fit for you. She loves other dogs, kids, and is a wonderful companion.
If you’re interested in meeting Kisha, email adopt@yoloshelter.org to schedule an appointment. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoption fee is $50 (waived for veterans).
