Exotic & Tropical Brugmansia known as "Trumpet Angel". They are the show stoppers by day. Everyone in the neighborhood noticed their long dangling pendulous flowers. By night they release sweet scented and intoxicating fragrance in the evening. My brugmansia are healthy and nice round twigs starters. They are cut from a matured brugmansia plants in my garden. They are garden ready guarantee to bloom same year if given proper care.
USDA Hardiness Zones: 9-11. Use as a container plant in other zones and bring inside. Angel's trumpet can grow 6-20' tall and 10-15' wide, with a vase shape. In cooler zones, full sun is fine. In the warmer zones, place where it will receive shade in the afternoon. Hence: If Brugmansia is planted in ground I recommend putting heavy mulch or bark around the base of the plant to protect its roots from cold winter.
Plant in a light, fertile, well- drained soil. Best growth occurs in acidic soil, though it can tolerate alkaline soil well and it is not drought resistant. Angel's trumpet should be fertilized at least once a week. Train when angel's trumpet is young if you would like to grow it in tree form. Blooms will occur after the main trunk branches into a "Y" form which comes about rather quickly after planting. I have Brugmansia in "Single" flowers and in "Doubles" flowers variety.
